INDIVIDUALS WITH ANY KIND OF SKIN CONDITION ON OR NEAR THE TREATMENT AREA

Eczema, dermatitis, rosacea, psoriasis or any one of these skin conditions may compromise the surface and texture of the skin.

INDIVIDUALS WITH VIRAL INFECTIONS, DISEASES SUCH AS LUPUS, OR HAVE UNDERGONE ORGAN TRANSPLANT SURGERY

The risk of developing an infection is higher with compromised immune systems.

INDIVIDUALS WITH PACEMAKERS OR MAJOR HEART PROBLEMS

We use lidocaine epinephrine as a numbing agent, which can increase your heart rate causing dysrhythmias.

INDIVIDUALS WITH DARK PRE-EXISTING EYEBROW TATTOO OR PERMANENT MAKE-UP

The tattoo or permanent makeup must be light enough for us to draw hair strokes/shading. (removal or color correction may be required) We ask anyone with a previous eyebrow tattoo to send us a picture of their eyebrows with no makeup on, so we can evaluate.

INDIVIDUALS PHONE TO COLD SORES

If you are prone to cold sores, lip blushing may result in an outbreak and cause loss of pigment. You must start taking antiviral medication, prescribed by your doctor and NOT over the counter, 48 hours prior to treatment to prevent an outbreak.

INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE ALLERGIC TO METAL AND COLOUR

We use small needles and pigments that can contain some metals and colorant, so allergy can be a show stopper.

INDIVIDUALS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE

Even with parental consent, we cannot perform semi-permanent makeup on anyone under 18.

INDIVIDUALS WITH GLAUCOMA

The risk of developing an eye infection is higher.

INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE ALLERGIC TO LIDOCAINE OR EPINEPHRINE

Our most used anesthetic is lidocaine and epinephrine so if you are allergic to it, we will not be able to use it during the procedure; however, you will still have an option to proceed but without a numbing agent to reduce the pain.

INDIVIDUALS WITH DARK LIPS OR PHONE TO HYPERPIGMENTATION

In some cases we can not work over very dark lips or people prone to hyperpigmentation. Due to the hyper pigmentation getting darker.

INDIVIDUALS PRONE TO KELOIDS

Since permanent makeup punctures the skin, there is always a risk for people that are prone to keloids to heal with keloids scaring.

WOMEN WHO ARE PREGNANT OR NURSING

Going through hormonal changes leads to infections. Results are unpredictable.

INDIVIDUALS WITH HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE

Your blood pressure has to be at a stable condition. You may have slightly greater bleeding than the norm. Excessive bleeding during the procedure can dilute and expel the pigment color and lead to poor results.

INDIVIDUALS WITH OILY SKIN

Those with very oily skin are ineligible for microblading. Powder brows are recommended for this skin type. Those with less oily or combination skin, may consider a combination of microblading and powder effect, known as combo brows.

INDIVIDUALS WITH SUN DAMAGED SKIN

It can results in poor retention of pigment.

Does it hurt? Discomfort is minimal for most clients. A topical numbing cream is applied before and during the service to keep you as comfortable as possible. Sensation levels vary, but many clients describe it as light scratching rather than pain.

What is lip blush ? Lip blush is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances the natural color, shape, and symmetry of the lips. Using a soft, sheer pigment, it creates a natural tint—not a lipstick look—while improving definition and overall tone.

How many sessions does magnetic tattoo removal takes? Most clients need at least 2-4+ sessions, with varying factors. Sessions are typically spaced 4 weeks apart to allow proper healing and pigment release. A consultation is recommended to assess the area and create a personalized treatment plan.
